Bypass soft starter
This series of motor soft starters adopts advanced power electronics technology, microprocessor technology, and modern control theory, making it a highly efficient and intelligent new-generation motor starting device. By precisely controlling the starting voltage and current of asynchronous motors, it effectively suppresses current surges and mechanical vibrations during startup. It is widely suitable for smooth starting of medium- to high-inertia loads such as fans, pumps, conveying equipment, and compressors, serving as an ideal replacement for traditional star-delta starters, auto transformer starters, and magnetic control step-down starting devices.
The control core of this product is a high-performance DSP digital signal processor. This processor system not only achieves precise control over the motor starting process but also provides comprehensive real-time protection. Through phase-shift triggering control of thyristors (SCRs), the DSP gradually adjusts the voltage applied to the motor, limiting the starting current while smoothly increasing motor torque, allowing the motor to accelerate gently to its rated speed. This control method significantly reduces the current impact on the power grid during motor startup, alleviates stress on motor windings and mechanical transmission systems, thereby extending the service life of both the motor and the driven equipment, and reducing system failure rates and downtime.
This soft starter offers three optional starting modes to accommodate different load characteristics and starting requirements:
Voltage ramp starting mode:
Voltage increases linearly over time, achieving smooth and shock-free startup.
Current limit starting mode:
Limits the starting current to a set range, suitable for scenarios sensitive to grid impact.
Direct starting mode:
Provides traditional starting functionality while offering complete motor protection.
Additionally, the product includes comprehensive motor and system protection functions, such as overload, phase loss, under voltage, over voltage, startup timeout, and stall protection. It also supports Modbus communication interfaces, enabling remote monitoring and system integration, making it suitable for various industrial automation and energy-saving retrofit applications.
